Ken graduated with a BSc. in Applied Psychology from Durham University. Having always had a natural ability to connect with people and a keen interest in IT, he joined a multinational recruitment firm – Huntress Group – as a Consultant in the IT Contracts team. Ken quickly worked his way up the ranks to become a Team Leader and a Top 10 Biller in three years. He consistently attended Top Billers’ Lunch Clubs, company trips, and was instrumental in the growth of the business. Seeking a new challenge, he then spent two years at a smaller boutique recruitment firm – Ammonite Group – helping them grow their Data & Analytics offering. His diverse recruitment experience, coupled with a successful track record of sales to numerous FTSE listed and private equity backed businesses led him to set up PureTech Talent.
I accidentally stumbled into Driving Recruitment in 2002 and discovered that “I really enjoy this”. I got a great deal of training and understanding of recruitment with Blue Arrow and from there moved to 24/7 Response Driving Recruitment. In 2007 I started with Simply Education Ltd as a Consultant and progressed to Branch Manager, Regional Manager and eventually Director. When not at work, my Son, Daughter and Grandson become the focal points of my day as well as Dora (my Alsatian) keeping me on my toes. With 15 years’ experience under my belt I have found and firmly believe that recruitment should be a quick, easy to understand, and fun process. It should leave you empowered, motivated, and most importantly excited for what lies ahead.
Ludovica visited London for the first time in 1999 and immediately fell in love with it, knowing that she wanted to move there one day. Her wish came true in 2007. Ludovica spent 10 years in retail sector honing her sales skills, progressing up the food chain to become a team leader and branch manager of one of the most successful retailers in the world, whilst simultaneously graduating with a BSc. in Criminology. Keen to pursue a career in sales outside of retail, she found a true passion for recruitment and joined Haigh Associates in 2017 to learn the bread and butter of recruitment in the Data & Analytics market. Her abilities as a successful saleswoman shone through very quickly; she frequently exceeded her targets and attended company trips for the highest performers. Having gained valuable exposure to Data, Ludovica brings a wealth of experience to PureTech Talent – where she is focusing building out their Data & Analytics division.
After achieving a respectable set of grades in her A-Levels in 2017, Connie began her career in recruitment, working as an intern at a small recruitment agency. Upon completion of the internship, Connie had learnt the basics of recruitment and decided this was the career path she wanted to pursue, thus secured herself a position at Argyll Scott. Here, Connie was exposed to a variety of IT markets, including Infrastructure, Business Transformation, and Software Engineering. She achieved her first deal within month one, and was attending high performers lunch clubs by month two. As of November 2018, Connie will be furthering her career within the IT space here at PureTech, focusing primarily on the Data & Analytics division.
